1946:Born in Godo,Azuma Village,Seta,Gunma Prefecture,Japan.

1970:Graduated from Gunma University. Became a physical education teacher at a junior high school, but had a serious accident while coaching the gymnastics club at school: becama paralyzed from the neck down due to the serious neck injury.

1972:While hospitalized in Gunma University Hospital, started writing and drawing pictures by holding a brush in his month.

1974:Came to know the Bible and baptized as a Christian.

1979:First exhibition in Maebashi City. Left the Hospital.

1981:Married.

1982
～90:Exhibitions entitled "Flora in Verse and Color by Tomihiro Hoshino" in many cities made a quiet sensation all over japan,with more than a million visitors.

1991:Tomihiro Museum established by Azuma village. Circulating exhibitions of"Flora in Verse and Color by Tomihiro Hoshino"(mainly lithographs)in Brazil.

1994:"Flora in Verse and Color by Tomihiro Hoshino" exhibition in New York.

1997:"Flora in Verse and Color by Tomihiro Hoshino" exhibition in Hawai.

2000:"Exhibitions of Flowers:Poetry and Paintings" in Hawai.

2001:"Flora in Verse and Color by Tomihiro Hoshino" in San Francisco commemorating the 50th anniversary of US-Japan Peace Treaty.
"Flora in Verse and Color by Tomihiro Hoshino" in Los Angeles.

2002:The number of visitors at Tomihiro Museum reached four million.

2004:"Flora in Verse and Color" was invited to be a part ot the "Barrier Free Exhibition"
by the Warsaw National Museum in Poland.

2005:New museum opens in April.
He continues to paint and write essays at home.
